BRIEF HISTORY: The
Christian Education Ministry
is that ministry that under
girds all other ministries
of the church. The Good
Shepherd Baptist Church
Christian Education Ministry
was organized in 1987 under
the leadership of Rev.
Clarence Moore in order to
make disciples for Christ
through the Church’s various
educational units. At its
inception, this ministry
brought together five
educational ministry leaders
and six members at large,
under the headship of a
director to assist and guide
the Christian Education
activities of the church.
The purpose of the Christian
Education Ministry is to
help individuals of all ages
within the church and the
community to study the
Bible; and become aware of
God as revealed in Jesus
Christ; respond in a
personal commitment of
faith; and strive to follow
Him in the full meaning of
discipleship. The Christian
Education Ministry is
currently composed of the
